Keep in mind that you can also be charged with an Alaska DUI if you
took drugs prior to driving. Illegal drugs are dangerous even in small
amounts, and any amount in your body can result in an Alaska DUI.
However, you can also be charged if you took prescription or
over-the-counter drugs before driving. Many medications can make you
sleepy, affect your vision, or otherwise make driving dangerous. If you
were warned not to drive before taking these medications, you can be
charged with an Alaska DUI.
