Alaska has an implied consent law for chemical tests and drunk driving. If you get behind the wheel, you are agreeing to take a chemical alcohol test. You can ask to take additional tests, but you do not have the right to refuse chemical tests. If you do, you will immediately have your license suspended and will be subject to other penalties, even if you are later found innocent of an Alaska DUI.
