When you get an Alaska speeding ticket, you have multiple options.
You have five business days to respond to your Alaska citation, and at
that point you can plead guilty, not guilty, or no contest. If you
plead no contest, you simply have to sign the ticket and send in your
payment.
If you decide to plead guilty or not guilty, you’ll have to appear in
court. If you appear in court, you have a chance at beating the ticket
or at least reducing your penalties. If you want to plead not guilty,
it is a good idea to hire a lawyer.
